Need of the Midnight Hour

Need of the Midnight Hour

Before you climb into your bed, snuggle up against the cover, and watch your favorite movie, or just browse through your phone or a book, our bedtime routine includes changing into soft and cozy pyjamas. A lot of people do not feel the need for sleepwear and rather opt for loungewear or active wear that they wear to sleep. This in turn does not let your body breathe and recuperate. So,choosing the appropriate nightwear is of the utmost importance.

When we buy nightwear, we always confuse it with buying loungewear or a simple t-shirt and a pair of pants. But these are often uncomfortable as they are meant for the day or for just lounging around at home. You can wear these and take walks, but you should not sleep in them as they restrict your blood flow and don't allow your body to breathe enough.

Night wears are supposed to help you sleep better, regulate the body temperature no matter the weather conditions, and improve blood circulation to help the body recover better after every night's sleep.

How? The factors like fabric, texture, fit, style, and climate matter the most. We have simplified these for you for a better understanding

Fabric: You should look for breathable, comfortable, and soft fabric. Always stick to cotton, satin, rayon, cotton knitted, cotton linen blend, cotton satin, and so on. The more breathable and lightweight the fabric is, the better sleep you get.

Texture: It is closely interrelated to the fabric. The inside texture matters equally to the outside. Some fabrics may look rough from the outside, but after a few washes, they become the softest.

Fit: Choosing the right fit is crucial. Never opt for a fit that makes you look dowsed in fabric at the same time it should not look like you stole something from your younger sister's wardrobe. You have to find a fit that is neither flabby nor too snug. It should always fall on your body and take shape.

Style: Style is a very subjective option. Some people only want comfort and overlook the style aspect, while some want the best of both worlds.

Climate: The sleepwear material depends on the climate of your particular city. If you live in colder or pleasant areas you can consider satin, silk, flannel, and so on. On the contrary, if you live in summer or topical areas you can opt for fabrics like cotton, rayon, cotton satin, and so on.
